Payment and refund policy

1. Tours and bespoke services

The deposit is 30% of the agreed price. The balance is due by the date in the proposal or invoice, otherwise no later than 24 hours before the service begins. Payment methods and details are given in the proposal or invoice. The same terms apply to private and group tours.

2. Cancellation by the customer

• More than 30 days before the start — 100% of the amount paid is refunded, including the deposit.
• 15–30 days before the start — 50% of the amount paid is refunded.
• Fewer than 15 days before the start — no refund.

Confirmed non-refundable supplier costs already incurred for your booking (hotels, wineries, restaurants, transport and tickets) may be deducted from the refund.

3. Cancellation by the organiser

We will offer alternative dates. If these do not suit you, we will refund the full amount paid.

4. Force majeure

If circumstances beyond either party’s control, such as natural disasters or government decisions, make the service impossible, we will seek a new date together. If rescheduling is impossible, we will refund the amount paid less costs that suppliers will not refund.

5. Online courses: 14-day refund

Within 14 days of paying for a course, you may request a refund without giving a reason, even if you have started the course. Write to info@artwineguide.fr using the email address given at payment. We will refund the full price by the original payment method within 14 days of your request. Course access and any certificate issued will be withdrawn, and any unused tour discount received with the course will be cancelled. After 14 days, course payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Refund timing

Tour refunds are made within 14 calendar days after the amount is agreed. Course refunds are made within 14 days of the request. Your bank determines when the funds reach your account.
