1. Who processes your data
Art Wine Guide — SASU, share capital EUR 1,500, RCS Paris 101 762 342, EUID FR7501.101762342, registered office: 6 rue d'Armaillé, 75017 Paris, France. Email: info@artwineguide.fr. Telephone: +33 (0)6 26 09 33 76. Publication director: Kirill Lazovsky.
2. What data we receive
- Enquiries and messages. Website forms let you request a tour, transport, a bespoke service or a course, or ask a question. Depending on the form, we receive your name, email and/or telephone, dates, number of participants, region, budget, preferences and message.
- Newsletter. Email address and consent to receive messages.
- Student account. Name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo if uploaded, purchased courses, progress, test results, notes, favourites and certificates.
- Homework and support. Answers, photographs and files attached to assignments or support enquiries, and the teacher’s comments.
- Purchases. Course, tariff, amount, payment date and status. We neither receive nor store bank card details: Stripe processes them.
- Bespoke proposals. When we prepare a tour programme, it contains your name, contact details, dates and trip details.
- Technical data. The page from which an enquiry was submitted, referral source and UTM parameters. Your IP address is used briefly to protect forms against spam and is not saved in the enquiry.
3. Why we use it
To answer enquiries and prepare proposals; organise tours or services; sell courses and grant access; assess homework, issue certificates and provide support; send purchase and learning messages; send newsletters to subscribers; protect the website against abuse; and, with your consent, understand how the website is visited.
4. Legal bases
Performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps (enquiries, course purchases, accounts, tours); your consent (newsletters and analytics cookies); our legitimate interests (website protection and enquiry records); and legal obligations (payment accounting records).
5. Who receives data
Only providers needed to operate the website, and only the necessary data:
- Stripe — course payments;
- Brevo — email delivery (confirmations, course access, homework replies and newsletters);
- website and database hosting providers — storage of website data;
- file storage providers — storage of photographs and files, including homework;
- Vimeo — video lessons in the student account;
- Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica — only if you allow analytics cookies.
Tour partners (hotels, wineries and transport providers) receive only the information needed for bookings and only after you agree to the service. We do not sell your data.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers, such as Stripe, Google and Vimeo, may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers rely on European Commission standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms provided for by the GDPR.
7. Retention periods
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order — up to three years after the last contact.
- Student accounts — while active; deleted at your request.
- Payment records — for the period required by French accounting law (up to ten years).
- Homework and files — while course access remains active and for one year afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.
- Newsletter data — until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights
You can obtain a copy of your data, correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a machine-readable format, and withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out. Write to info@artwineguide.fr: we will reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
9. Security
Passwords are stored only as hashes; student and administration areas require authentication and roles; homework files are visible only to you and the teacher; forms are protected against automated submissions.
10. Cookies
See the Cookie policy for details. You can change your choice at any time on the Cookie settings page.
11. Changes
The current version is always available on this page, with its update date.
