A PERSONAL APPROACH

Not a mass-market tour, but a personally designed journey through Provence

‘Provence smells of thyme, rosemary and terracotta. I will help you experience it fully, through wine, food and special places.’ YOUR GUIDE-SOMMELIERYour guide-sommelier

Bandol · Cassis · Côtes de Provence · Les Baux

01

Carefully selected domaines, restaurants and itineraries

Every address in the programme has been personally selected. No compromises. Only domaines with history, genuine Provençal restaurants with character and itineraries that reveal southern France at its best.

02

A comfortable pace without bustle or the tourist race

Provence does not like rushing. We do not chase a count of places: a few in-depth stops let you feel the region from within. Enough time for conversation, a glass of rosé on a terrace and the silence of lavender fields.

03

A balance of great wines, food and the beauty of Provence

Provence is not just rosé. It is bouillabaisse, tapenade, Aix calissons, Banon cheese, olive oil from the Vallée des Baux and the market in Apt. We bring it all together in one coherent, fragrant journey.

WHY HERE?

Why Provence deserves a tour of its own

Provence is home to the world’s finest rosé. Bandol with Mourvèdre, white Cassis above the sea and organic Luberon domaines reveal themselves quite differently with someone who understands the context beside you.

Rosé, Bandol and the rare whites of Cassis

Rosé, Bandol and the rare whites of Cassis

Provençal cooking is a philosophy of season and place. A market at dawn, olive oil from the Vallée des Baux, Banon cheese and bouillabaisse on Marseille’s waterfront. Everything fresh, everything local, everything extraordinary.

Bouillabaisse, tapenade and the market in Apt

Bouillabaisse, tapenade and the market in Apt

Medieval clifftop villages, lavender fields in late June and July, Alpilles olive groves and terracotta roofs beneath blue skies. Provence is visual poetry that words cannot convey.

VALUE

Why this tour is worth the price

‘A good journey differs from an ordinary one not in its length, but in the quality of every moment.’ This is more than a guide-interpreter. It is someone who understands good wine, the right food and a comfortable travel pace. You feel the difference from the first hour.

  1. 01

    A small-scale experience

Just a couple or a small group of up to eight. No coaches and no groups of thirty strangers following a flag. Just a private pace and proper service.

  2. 02

Places that are difficult to find on your own

A private visit to Domaine Tempier, a private tasting at a small organic estate in the Luberon, and the best restaurant in Cassis without booking three months ahead: these are the result of years of relationships.

  3. 03

A balance of wine, gastronomy and logistics

You do not have to think about the itinerary, parking, translation, payments or bookings. Everything is included. You simply discover Provence.

  4. 04

    A thoughtful, unhurried pace

Provence does not like racing. The programme leaves room for a leisurely breakfast at the market, a conversation with a winemaker and a stop beside an olive grove simply because it is beautiful.

  5. 05

Guiding with an understanding of the region and service

More than a guide and interpreter. Someone who understands good wine, the right food and a comfortable travel pace. You feel the difference from the first hour.

It was one of the best holidays of my life. I have travelled a lot, but Provence with this kind of guiding is something entirely different. We visited places tourists do not know, drank wines you cannot buy in a shop and ate food made only for insiders.

Six of us travelled together. We expected something good and received something exceptional. The private visit to a small Luberon domaine was especially memorable: we would never have found it ourselves.
