A PERSONAL APPROACH

A personally designed Alsace journey, not a mass-market tour

‘I put together more than trips: itineraries with flavour and the right addresses."YOUR SOMMELIER GUIDE’Your guide-sommelier

Schlossberg · Rangen · Hengst · Brand · Goldert

01

Private access to closed cellars and domaines

Zind-Humbrecht, Weinbach, Hugel and Ostertag do not accept tourists walking in off the street. Every address in the programme is the result of 15 years of work in tourism.

02

An itinerary through Alsace’s living history

The Route des Vins d’Alsace is Europe’s most beautiful wine route. You see Alsace from within, beyond the tourist façade.

03

The gastronomy of two cultures in one itinerary

Alsace is a crossroads of France and Germany. Baeckeoffe at a farm, flammekueche in an old winstub, and foie gras with Gewürztraminer Vendanges Tardives.

A REGION WITH HISTORY

Why Alsace

One of the few regions in the world where two millennia of winemaking have become entwined with the architecture of two civilisations.

World-class white wines and Grands Crus

World-class white wines and Grands Crus

The only French region with seven grape varieties named on labels. Riesling and Gewürztraminer reach their peak at Schlossberg, Rangen and Hengst Grands Crus.

Europe's most beautiful vineyard region

Europe's most beautiful vineyard region

Fifteenth-century half-timbered houses, medieval hilltop castles and villages that look like fairy-tale settings. Riquewihr and Kaysersberg are living Alsace.

The gastronomy of two cultures: a unique phenomenon

The gastronomy of two cultures: a unique phenomenon

Alsatian food combines French technique, German generosity and local terroir. Baeckeoffe, flammekueche and Munster cheese: you cannot taste this anywhere else.

REASONS

5 reasons to choose this itinerary

  1. 01

Access you cannot buy on your own

Zind-Humbrecht, Weinbach, Hugel and Ostertag: these domaines do not admit walk-in tourists. Kirill Lazovsky has built these relationships over fifteen years working in tourism.

  2. 02

You will understand Riesling in a way a reader of books cannot

The difference between Grand Cru Schlossberg and Rangen is a taste in your glass, explained through granite soils and volcanic origins.

  3. 03

Logistics and details are not your concern

Transfers, hotels, restaurant bookings, visit times and language are all arranged. Your only task is to enjoy it.

  4. 04

    A small group, maximum depth

No more than eight people. You ask the winemaker questions directly. It is a conversation, not a lecture; a meeting, not a sightseeing tour.

  5. 05

An itinerary that stays with you forever

At the end of the tour, a personal itinerary book with every domaine visited, wines, recipes and producers’ contact details.
